Bongaigaon College family heartily welcomes the Cabinet of Assam Government decision to upgrade Bongaigaon College to a full-fledged university. The decision was announced on 24th November, 2021 in its meeting held at Bongaigaon. The Bongaigaon College fraternity and the people of Western Assam expressed their exuberance by lighting lamps in the college campus and also by singing and dancing together. Here is a glimpse:
