            Bongaigaon College Rovers & Rangers Unit was formally inaugurated on 4^th February, 23 with 12 Rovers & 8 Rangers for all round development of the young learners under the Rover Scout Leader Dr. Banajit Sharma (Warrant No…1453/04) and Ranger leader Dr. Sibani Bhattacharya (Warrant No…1274/05) & Dr. Rupanjali Devi (Warrant No. 1275/05). The Rover Unit was registered under Charter No.3139 dt. 24. 03.2005 and the Ranger Unit under Charter No.1189 dt.O3.O4.O5 under, Bharat Scout & Guide. From its inception the Unit is serving by offering its voluntary services in various activities organised by the College family and also in other social functions like Durga Puja, Ras Mohotsava, Vasani Mela, Sadvabana Divas, Awareness Programmes etc .The Unit is running under three trained in-charge teachers and active cooperation and guidance of Mr. Nirupada Saha District Training Commissioner and other Interested young faculty members and alumni of the college are also offering their guidance and voluntary services. Crew members of the unit participated various Training camp of state and National level and contributing in molding the academic environment of the college as well as the society.
